"You know really respect of PPL's feelings and some common sense along with a dose of courtesy would go a long way to making things easy. If you wouldn't say something to someone in person, you may want to think about not posting up." (Brent, I hope you don't mind me quoting you-- just have a feeling it's needed here.)

So what your telling me is that Fabers own two $57,000 Heatwave steers bcuz the guy i bought my calf from was right by him with his trailor and we were fitting him FYI

Were you at the Beef Expo or at Fort Dodge?  Yes, Fabers have 2 really good steers this year.

Relax Scottie,
You are new so we will be nice to you.  First of all, try some punctuation and grammar and people will take you more seriously. Secondly, it is very easy to spout off and talk about how a calf would have done but until a calf is in the ring we all know that nothing is proven.  And we have all learned over the years that one judge's opinion is not the final say.  Good luck to you the rest of the year with your heifer as it is always fun to do well.  However, people don't look kindly to people who spout off and your kind of posts are not welcome on this forum.

Scottie,
I have never seen your hfr bt have heard about her by a few people.. And in all aspects she sounds like a great one..Bt you have two things going against you on this topic..

The first is that you didn't or wouldn't put ur money where your mouth is and man up and take her to the Iowa State Fair to see how she would have really done.. So you can if and but it all the way to a merry christmas if ya would like..Or in your case a grand ol Spencer Fair...

And Secondly from what I have gathered your hfr was not the judges type so you would have been lucky to get out of your class or do anything in the overall for that matter.. You may have had one of the best mrket hfrs on the grounds that day, but if she aint the judges type your **** out of luck.. He wasnt looking for that big boned super stout female that day.. He wanted them longer and prettier wit jst enough muscle..

So next time you are going to say you coulda shoulda won something and have nothing to back it up just keep you opinions to yourself.. You will probably look alot smarter in the long run..

Scottie- Im tired of hearin this crap from you about your market heifer and blah blah shes so good she coulda kicked all them high dollar mrkt hfr's butts at the toughest mrkt hfr show in the country.. and oh wait... your heifer wasnt there was she?? no... so if she was that good I dont think you woulda just saved her for a COUTNY fair. (yes your county fair may be one of the bigger ones in IA) when you say you have the market heifer to beat. You would have been smart and took her to the state fair to show her off and win now wouldnt you? I dought shes even good enough for state fair is the reason why you save her for county fair.  Also like someone else said on here about the judge. The judge didnt want that big boned, muscled fat one so ya if your sayin thats what your heifer is like well ya wouldnt have done very good. The judge wasnt all for that type. So i dont think you would have even made it to the Market heifer finals. And if your reason why you didnt want to take her to state fair is because she woulda have to been sold and you couldnt show at ur precious county fair well what the heck are you thinkin? you shoulda been smart and took her to state fair if shes that good cuz she coulda been sold for big bucks way more then a county fair. The mrkt hfr that won took 30 grand at the auction a new record. Please just keep your thoughts to yourself and you think what you think in ur head ok?

It looks like we have some newbies posting on here who have a lot to learn about proper etiquette on an open forum.   Let's hold down the braggin a little and the personal attacks a lot.    Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on SP but no one is entitled to make personal attacks or pick fights because others don't agree with them.   There's a lot to be learned from others on SP if you just have an open mind and show some respect for the others.
