This is a photo we took of David by iphone.  It is untouched.  Many people have wanted to see semen bulls in their plain clothes to know what the bull is really like everyday.  Here is David standing in 97 degree Texas heat.  We have a sale going on now for his semen as well as embyros, flushes and rare semen at www.cowsinc.com

it is live now so check it out.

You really think that the clubby bulls look that bad after their show careers are over? Gahh, that's why I stick with Simmental bulls!

Wyatt do you really think that all of the Club calf bulls are alike or look alike? What I see in this bull is a bull that could be used on some softer made cows to add power and extension through their fronts. Look how wide he stands and look @ the muscle expression through his rear quarter. I would love to see a shot from behind. I'm guess that he is thick. He looks structurally sound in the picture, but can'ttell for sure from the picture. Take a closer look @ him. JMO.

In response to simmyman, what is wrong with this bull? Is he perfect, no, but he is far from being bad. All bulls have their niche just like your simmis do.

Wyatt, I notice in the couple of weeks I wasn't on here, the spelling didn't improve any. I'll be blunt, use spell check or don't post. It gets quite annoying to roll through topics and on all your posts, the number of misspelled words is higher than those spelled correct. Something real easy at the bottom that all you have to do is click.

I appreciate some of your kind comments...lol...

He is one year old as of May.  I raised him on a bottle personally.  Thus, we know his good and bad points.  Is he perfect, no.  Is he better made than most promoted bulls, yes in our opinion.

He is standing in 97 degree heat and he is hot.  Honestly, I think he is probably better made than 90% of all bulls you see that are photo shopped and have their legs boned up.  Neither of David's photos were edited.  This is rarity in this industry.  Sad but a fact.

Many of you on this board have asked to see what these semen bulls look like in person.

There are many bulls you use that are new that the owners would be very scared for you to see them in this condition standing in heat with no hair not edited.

We believe that real cattlemen will understand what they are viewing.  Either way, we respect your comments and appreciate them.

I do understand. For the conditions he is in, he looks AMAZING! He is much better than many other promoted bulls that have nothing to him. He has great shape to his muscle and will make some great steers!

Wyatt,

His semen is on our auction and starts at $20/unit.  He is only a May and we will not have a lot of semen so we are selling the little we have in auction and keeping the rest for ourselves as insurance for now.

What is his breeding??

He looks great! Nice to see some truth in advertising!!

thanks for the kind comments.  He is out of Immortal (Heat Wave son)  and his dam is a Purebred Charolais cow called 902 that we purchased from Les Caffee.  She has sired several good ones over time including White Boy out of Heat Wave that Lautners promoted and  Nick Sullivans Champion Charolais Heifer at the Iowa State Fair in 2009 by Carnac.

Thus, he is 50% Charolais.  Unlike many other char colored bulls, David will give color about 99% of the time on black cattle.  He is as sound as a cat and has power in a moderate package.  Tremendous muscle and top with a goose neck.  All toes go forward.

I think that most breeders would like to see a bull slick.  David may work really well for slick shear cattle but had adequate hair prior to slicking off.  See his other photo.

We are selling his semen now at www.cowsinc.com .

i wasn't a big fan of immortal when i saw him but i have liked the calves that i have seen out of him.

i think you nailed the description. stout and wide, but moderate framed.

there are plenty of cows to breed him to. i could see him making those thick chubby calves that are popular now.

Ultimately we need to get to where we have bulls that can produce good females as well as steers.  I like Immortal and his brother Walks on Water as well.  We are using both of those bulls in our program.  I see David in the same light as those bulls but with the Charolais influence.
