Has anyone used this bull or no much about him.  His bw is stayed at 104 so I am wondering about birth weight and then how they grow? His photo on the lucky springs Web page looks neat and I really like the cow family he is out of.  I saw his half brother in Denver and thought he was sound but falter in his make up.  Thanks

You should contact Graham Sharp at Double Star Stock Farms, Lacombe, AB as he had the bull and unfortunately lost him in an accident.

He did in 2006. Lucky Springs Casino 39P 58S he was also the high seller at RAWF in 2007 for $31,000.  I stole a picture off their website!

Jaime-have you seen him? I remember a video somewhere and he looked like he had a butt on him. I saw the older bull at Denver in 97 I think-And he had a nice side profile but just did nothave the width from behind. they have since come up with some really cool looking clubby x breds that are anything butt narrow. O0

I didn't see Casino as we went to CWA that year but I did see Canasta as a calf and yearling and he was an outstanding bull.  His dam was one of those great cows which left a lasting impression on me I just loved seeing her.

I remember him as a calf super impressive. I believe he was back to back champion bull at
Agribition. Two of the greatest angus breeders judged him those two years and they have raised some of the best bulls in the black and red angus breed. My only complaint on him was he had a pretty small foot and shallow heel. But that's getting really picky.
