I finally got to see the bulls our steers came from, one is a Torque x Full Flush and the other is a Tank x Hoo Doo mating.  These are the steers we posted pics of back in May.  Some very good looking females offered in this sale.

He said last year that his 07 bunch would be the last of the Hoodoos - that ranch was supposedly switching to a Red Angus x Charolais cross.  Don't know if something changed or if these are some he raised.  They are always good.

my catalog hasn't come yet.  are they out yet?  or did get left out?

Ours came with Showbox plus we got others in the mail 2-3 weeks ago,  but we've bought during the past two sales.

I think they try to save money and get more people to access it online.

He doesn't fit our program, but I love the video on the Lot 508 bull for something a little different.  For those thinking about these cattle, we've had a couple of bulls out of Shamrock that have done a good job for us.

Has anyone ever bought any show calves from him?  I just bought a meyer x hairy bear yesterday via our county extention agent from him.
He is coming in tonight and I am excited to see this calf.  I was told he looks like a chia pet?  Anyone have any comments?

Kris sells lots of calves - because he usually sells good ones.  There are never any guarantees, but he doesn't try to sell them unless he thinks they'll work for their intended purpose.  A good friend of mine bought a calf 3 or 4 years ago about this time of year that went on to place well at Fort Worth in an exotic class.  Kris's top end runs with anything and his cheaper calves usually do just fine.  Lots of reasons for calves still being left over.  Some lose their hair early and don't sell, some are too green early on, etc.

I bet you'll do just fine.

I hope so.  I will post some pics as soon as I can and get yalls opinion.  I was hoping that by waiting it out we might come accross a great deal.

Reno, As I posted earlier we bought a calf from Kris a Torque x Full Flush and also have a calf out of his bull Tank that was raised by Olsen Cattle Co. here in Texas.  I am extremely pleased with both.  I attended his sale last year and Chambero is right, top end calves are awesome!  The pasture we toured the most were the green ones and they are really nice just not ready for the ring and sometimes overlooked.  Good luck with your purchase!
