On my way back.  All of the ones he sold half interest in  sold for around 20k.  Every buyer doubled bid.  Kroupa baldy young cow was super good and brought just under 20.  Didnt stay for bulls.

The Hereford x brought $8750 for half, dont remember if the buyer doubled down on that one or not.

Collins is the best about posting sale report within a week or so....

46 - 6250
64 - 2800

The 1/2 interest females I saw...
1 9500 1/2
2 26000
9 9000 1/2
40 15500
72 8750 1/2

I left very early after buying three (didn't need the temptation) but it seemed just as solid a sale as ever.  How did the later 2/3 hold up?

I might have misunderstood, but the Hereford is the only one I dont remember being doubled.  I"m almost certain the buyers on 1, 2, 9,  40 doubled.

  I thought 41, 44, 45, 47, and 103 were real good buys.  I wish I would have brought home 47 and 103.  I really liked the 574 bull also.

The last half of the sale held up pretty good. As always, there are some really good buys there in the last third or so. Alot of the females are fall's instead of springs so they are a little greener, but still make a really good investment.

426 bred heifers averaged: 3100
104 bred cows averaged:  3102
26 bulls averaged: 6006

We bought lot 16 and a few more of the others towards the end that were really good buys. We tried to partner up on lot 177 but there was no stopping ryan went. lol

Lot 6 and Special lot A brought 6750, and lot 453 brought 14,500. The Made Right semen avg. was 130 a straw.

I loved the lot 6 and probably should have just bought her instead of the few i got. Alias sure scares me for females in the long run as far as soundness.

I think you were better off with the 16 heifer than the 6.  I worry about the same thing on the Alias's for breeding cattle - heifers or bulls.  I really liked the 574 bull.  Did you stay long enough to catch what he brought?

Did yall have to come home through that nasty weather.  I was glad I left early.

Does anyone know if Torque is PHA fee or not?

My son and I stood over by the exit side of the ring and watched most of it.  Did I talk to any of you and not realize who I was talking to?  I was wearing a Browning ball cap.
