For the most part the calves sold for about what I was expecting....but what happened on the smoke unstoppable son? What am I missing?

These bulls seem pretty light for the most part............ I am sure theyre feeding them hard, how come theyre not making better gains?

a lot of them arent even a year old or just over a year old and weighed 1100-1200. think most of your fat steers are 16-18 months old and weighing 1300 (being a held a month or so) for your county or state fair. I dont think there that small, plus matt bought like 30 bulls this past spring. i wouldnt want his feed bill. i complain about 3

I say they were plenty big enough and will work this spring.  The smoke bull looked good, took a great pic.

That's a stretch... Lot 1 that came from Knowles in Wade's sale is nice. I get it's "maternal" oriented but still figured you'd see more walks alone sons, wonder why that is...

Because it's a maternal based sale, walks alone is not maternal lol. He is a extreme clubby bull, meant to make steers, not females.

On wades blog theres a lot of reports of WA daughters being good........ I just thought - how? must be that there mothers were really maternal
