This a leader 9th 2nd calf hefier I purchased from Wally Klose. She is a simple little cow nothing extraordinary about her. I hope to find some semen on the little Ceder Cabrera and breed her to him next spring.

I'm guessing she is out of DIAMONDKDOUBLELEADER 9TH, which adds up to the same as Leader 9th. While studying this I see another daughter went to that same Lake Front Shorthorn place that has a sister to the dam of the bull you posted. Maybe see what they have learned from working with those genetics.
The Little Cedar bull seems neat.

Yes, that's what she is out of and bred now to the Harvey bull. The cows so far are gentle and seem to easy keepers. I really like the little cedar bull I aslo like the look the the meat packer bull

Maybe this is a bad idea, but if you are tracking down old semen, maybe look for some from this Irish Mist son. POPLAR PARK MIST 4R. Look for progeny and see if there are any recent ones.
The old picture is Irish Mist (I think)

Poplar Park recently got back a decent stash of 4R semen. I AI'd a few to him, and a few more to a son- JT Titan 3T for them this spring. Be interesting to see those calves next year!

Certainly not a bad idea to consider 4R. He was a proven sire in many herds and produced a lot of exceptional sons and daughters. As KFShorthorns mentioned, we are expecting several 4R calves next spring and are very much looking forward to them! Message me or contact us through our website if interested.

Great herd sires from the past on your site. I had forgotten you had 74K also. I remember him from my studies on Pleasant Dawn Seal 2nd.
