Livestock Insurance

I am interested in putting an insurance policy on some cattle. The only place I have talked with said the premium would be 5% of the amount insured. Was wondering what everyone else does, if those rates are rather standard, etc. Also, I thought there may be a couple agents on SP. Thanks.

In addition, there are reps in about every state. American Livestock (now Markel) is a very good company to work with. They handle the claim process in a very fair and efficient manner. PM me if anyone needs an agent in Nebraska....
