Has anyone heard of the Central City Portable Livestock Scale Model 600? We found one advertised on Facebook.  He only had a picture of the scale part, which doesnt look to bad but it was mounted in an old barn.  He did give the dimensions on the platform which will work for us but was wondering if anyone has any info on these scales.  I am thinking the scale is pretty old as I tried to research and could not find that model. He wants $750.  Does this seem like a reasonable price and does anyone have info on this scale?

That is what I have.  You can order the digital equipment from them directly and make your own platform.  They gave me a few guide lines.  It cost me about 750.00 for brand new scales.

I think I may miss informed everyone it is the digital part I have a picture of but it also includes the platform. I just don't want to spend 750 on something that doesn't work.

Not sure on the model number, but we have a portable scale from this company.  They are 18 miles down the road from us and are a great company to work with.  Top notch support if you ever have an issue.

Our feedwagon scale, and both bale processor scales, are also from them.

Call them at 308-946-3591...they will answer any questions you have.

I'd classify them as a smaller company that does things the right way.
