My brother is looking for a bull that would fit with his American program.  He wants a bull that will work on his 1/2 Black Brangus and 1/2 Heatseeker heifers.  He would want the bull to be a easy calving bull, but one that also had some American breed in him.

I would like to find a good AI bull that is 3/4 Maine with a blazed face.  He would have to be Free of PHA and TH.  He would only be used on PB mature cows.  He would need to be a club calf sire.

Thanks.

All American owned by Dan Leddy will work in the American program.

If there is a maine that fits all you specs I don't know of him.  You might need to consider some other options.

Baldy high percentage Maines seem to be pretty hard to find these days.  If he'd fit with your cows, you might consider going back to the old MF Babe Ruth bull.  He was a line bred Cunia, and although I doubt he's been tested, I believe he should be PHA and TH free.  He was great for adding muscle and volume, and soundness was never an issue.  He worked best on medium to larger framed cows, especially to power up the ones that were pretty but needed to be a little stouter.

If you can use a halfblood, Carney Man is a registered Maine that might work for you.  I think Paleface is registered MA too, but he might only be a 3/8 - I'm not sure.

If you don't mind one that is not proven you could always try chopper.
