I have a couple of small heifers, one is red and white color and I would like to keep the red.  Very concerned about the possible size of calves.  Any suggestions on breeding small 1st calf heifers?

yes our red angus bull.  We've used him for 3 years exclusely on heifers, and to date have assisted zero births, and lost aero calves.  Calves have ranged from 38-65 lbs.  We have had somewhere in the 150 range of calves sired by him, and are expecting another large set of heifers to calve within the next couple months.

He will be getting collected for the 1st time on Wed by Interglobe.  We have wanted to prove him before collection occurs.  So we can actually say, he's a go too calving ease specialist.  |

Too little information to make a suggestion. What are the heifers your breeding as far as breed, or pedigree? What are your plans for the calves? What is your management type?

Without knowing that vital information, I would suggest a few red angus, so if your interested, let me know.

ABS bull, Above & Beyond, Red Angus. I know PPL that breed 10 month old heifer calves to him and get along well. Very acurate calving ease bull.
