Magazines

I am planning on having a private treaty sale later this year and also have a few club calves I would like to sell before.  I am going to list a few in the classifieds.

What magazine and month issue should I put my sale in?  What about the size of ad, people tell me I need to do a full page ad.  Can I get away with black and white or do I need color?

Any idea of the basic cost.  Sorry for all questions, found this site and I new to the show cattle raising business.  Just trying to find the best way to get started.

I would say it depends on where your located and the area your trying to bring buyers in from, a few suggestions are show box, show circuit, maybe your states cattle mans association.
