He is out of a High Definition Cow that was the Reserve Champion Females in a Western Futurity here is the Rockies.  He is the real deal.  Very complete and put together very well.  Here is a pic of his dam.

I have also had great success with MAB.  He works on any type of cow and is the most consistent bull I have ever used. I have attached a few photos of my MAB's

What's the cow's pedigree on the top calf. He sure looks just right.

Carlson Cattle. I just asked the same question before and you do not need to repeat the questions on everything in these threads. Maybe try a little reserve.  ??? (thumbsup) ???

Nabushman. Like the High definition heifer and her calf tells the story. Really nice.

I have 6 mab calves. Best one is solid black, good every where but has some throat. Other 5 are just OK, some shoulder, a few other issues, but big boned.  A lot of hype on this bull and im not sure why.  I think these calves are a lot like the sun seekers were when he was popular.Good as babies, never really look any better than when they are a month old. I also have some BIM calves and I will say with out a doubt they are much better cattle. They are the kind that are winning today. However, i do think they have a different maturity pattern, the kind cattle should have, and they get softer stouter and better everyday. BIM vs MAB I pick BIM.  And really no contest.BIM winning a lot more and selling higher.

After my BIM calves I will never touch him again. No guts no glory. The MAB calves I have seen has been fantastic.

How many shows mab won? 0.  How  bout Bim? I can think of 8 pretty big shows this winter. The best ones are BIMs. But I can see why people like man among boys. They are big boned and chubby calves. I just think BIM calves will win a lot more shows. Time will tell.

my point was that MAB was not used very much last year and BIM was ...... which means the probability of BIM winning more shows the MAB is greater! there were a handful of MAB out and hundreds of BIM

What's the bottom calf's mother?
The Bottom Calf dam is just a commercially bred female.  Maine x Angus I have AI'ed her to many bulls and was about to move her out of the program and them MAB came along.  Hes a cow changer.

I think the walks alone lines and BIM have about the most guts and middle ive ever seen. I really like MAB too, but i think thats crazy that people had poor middled BIMs. It must've not been the widest cow...

I heard directly from Wade Rodgers that he likes two tone calves better than mab. He said one of his best calves was a two tone.

Guts has nothing to do with width.

Wade may be trying to direct PPL to another one of his bulls. MAB will not be able to meet the demand this spring. He will get to be collection to collection. That tells allot about what PPL are seeing and getting for calves IMO.
