Maternal Made

I asked someone in the industry that I really respect recently what bull he thought I should breed to first calf heifers to, he suggested Maternal Made based off of what I told him I wanted to do, he stated he would be breeding quite a few of his to the bull and he had really liked what he had seen out of the bull. Between the time he suggested him and now the semen seems to have gone up about $15 a dose.

I will probably still go that rout but next time he gives me a suggestion I'm going to act faster.

Has anyone used Maternal Made?

The one from Competitive Edge Genetics correct? If so I should have one out of him this spring. Never thought of using him on heifers but his pedigree looks like it might be possible. Although I'm not sure I've seen CEG promote him as such.

Well they would be bred for their second calves, and yes the bull from CEG.
