kind of amazing being that many think The Headline is a better bull than Monopoly...

I know phenotypically The Headliner is probaly the better bull. I think genetically he has the potential to throw just as good if not better calves than Monopoly, he just wasnt as widely used. Both good bulls imo.

Monopoly is proven, in demand and short supply.  Makes sense the price would go up.  Glad I got mine when it was just $50.  Semen quality appears to be excellent.

Anchor is a Moonshine (Windsor) out of a Stilts x Buck Simmy cow.  Phil Lautner and Mike Weidner owned him, bred by Weidner I think. As you can see he has produced some awesome females and has worked great for people like Groupa. He was one big boned bull that sure sired some great ones.

I got the sale report this morning because we bought some stuff on the sale.  Everything sold except 1 lot of Heat Wave 1 and one lot of Friction.  I guess supply and demand NO semen this spring and good calves HIGH DEMAND.

please post it to put away any thoughts of a scam on lautners part...i mean, the same semen was available for about half the price a week before....Matt was selling Bleeding Purple for $80 every day prior to the sale.

I dont wanna start something, but you DONT post who bought what and paid what on a public forum. Thats just wrong... I dont think those people want everyone knowing what they paid and this and that, its there personal and private business, end of story.

I'm sorry, I highly doubt he bought it all back. I know people have done it before. And if he did someone would have probaly been on here spreading it like wildfire. Its just the way it is. I think if the names of the buyers were meant to be released to those other than the other buyers it would have been done by the auction company.

You guys can have your opinions, BUT speculating someone is bidding up an auction without an ounce of knowledge is libel.

It also could be easily proved that you are causing damages by spreading this information without merit on a widely viewed industry board.

Jason,

I am not committing libel.  I have asked for the names if anyone believes what we saw in the sale yesterday.  I have posted proof it was avail for much less days before the sale.

Posting names of buyers is not uncommon in the industry as it is already done by primetimeagrimarketing.com for anyone to see.

My opinion is yesterdays sale was not real unless proven wrong. I stand by that.  This tactic I have seen since the sales in the 1970's and goes on all of the time to promote.

I do not like good people being fooled.

Thanks to the 13 buyers from 11 different states who made our first online offering a success. 92% of buyers were multi-lot buyers:

*Jake Beaty (Indiana)

*Zack Colbert (Illinois)

*Jay Coles (Indiana)

*Troy Faulkender (Kansas)

*Brett Foster (Indiana)

*Shane Geist (California)

*John Graves (Texas)

*Mike Haynes (Oklahoma)

*David Porter (California)

*Tyler Trihus (Minnesota)

*Jeff Vance (Nebraska)

*Brian Witt (Ohio)

*Adam White (Wisonsin)

Names emailed to me and posted above.

I am very lenient on Steer Planet, but it is not fair to speculate based on you not receiving a list of buyers names.

I can 100% testify to the difference between auction prices and maybe to what it was available before an auction.  Not everyone does their due diligence and many people get "caught in the moment".

I can't count the number of times I have sat in auctions and watched people pay twice what something is worth, I'm not sure why you would think this is any different.

We bought monp. on the sale last night. Do some homework and call around and try to find a distributor that has some.  Let me save you some time YOU CANT. Might be the only time to get any this year.  also you have to do something with your picture.
