more about mature bulls

Her it's something I don't understand. The first picture is my mature (6 years) bull a few days before he went out with the cows. The second is a few days after he went out with them. How could he shapeshift like that? Is it just the better pasture or do they pump out that much extra testosterone as soon as they get with the cows?

Good looking bull.  It's probably just the better grass.

Does that bull have some Leader 21 in him?  Sure looks like he does.  Some bulls just look better out on good grass.  My Zulu bull really seems to blossom out in the pasture.  He has the most aggressive appetite I've seen in a long time while shut in, but he sure blooms with the cows.  Of course, any Shorthorn looks good in knee deep grass!

He has always had a real talent for taking a bad picture.

This is another lousy picture, but it shows the character of his daughters really well. They are short stature, lots of volume and good udders. This is a three year old Angus cross daughter. I'd be interested to see more mature bull pictures along with mature daughter pictures of other peoples bulls.
Wish I had more Shorthorn cows to use him on, although I've had good luck putting him back on the Angus and Galloway crosses.
