NAME THE BULL!

afma, Winegardner and Jerry Adamson showed this bull. I forget all the people involved in his ownership, but saw a heifer that I really liked out of him at the 06 NAILE.

They call him Who da Man.  ACA reg. ASHW Who Da Man is a Who Made Who son out of a CA-Ma-Sm cow.

Red, you probably saw this Who da Man heifer too in Winegardner's string.

Justintime, Alexander is correct. Notable full sibs would include, Amber S7, Ryans Hope, Milestone, Austin, and Queen of Hearts to name a few. I thought I saw a picture of Metric Marvel in a get or best 6 head somewhere, I'll have to dig some more.

That Get picture really brought back some memories.  I showed against those cattle and they were huge.  If I remember correctly, Lefty 83rd was the heaviest Shorthorn bull to show in Denver at that time.  He was owned by Dean Fieser at Plains. Ks and Twig Marston hauled and showed him. He weighed 2650 at Denver that year.  I showed a bull named Evergreen CT Kendall for Dean at Denver a few years later that weighed in at 2885.  It was when the trend to get them smaller was starting.  Jeff Bedwell ( a good friend of mine) was judging and told me afterwards that he was just too big.  Jeff's family owned Lefty 83rd after his show career.
This was when the only selection tool was a measuring stick and everyone was trying to get them bigger.  I remember measuring a heifer calf at a sale we worked in this time period that was 11 months old and measured 55 inches tall. 
The Graham's from Minnesota were mainstays in the Shorthorn breed for a long time.  They owned several bulls that they promoted in the 70's and 80's.  Clark, Columbus, Albo, and some more that I can't recall were all bulls they advertised on the back cover of the Shorthorn Country for years.  We showed a Columbus son out of Ayatollah's mother that sold in their dispersal sale.  He was Res. Grand bull at about every show we went to behind the SMF Fifth Avenue bull of Don and Pat Stout's.  Don judged Ft.Worth that year and he was Grand there.

Darn it! You are making me really regret tossing my old Lautner, SEK, Vioce, Angus and Chi journals etc..  I had quite a collection. We could have played "name the bull" for the next thirty years. By the way does anyone have a picture of Polled Pursuit?  Wonder how many would consider him a good bull by todays standards?

Farmboy, I'm not going to tell everyone the name of your #555 bull since I know where the pic came from and his identity.  Do you need a hint on #554?  I figured he would be pretty harn for everyone except DLD.

#554 was born in OK in the 80's, and never quite achieved the national fame of his younger full brother.  He sired many champions including a Kansas City steer.  He is a Chi-Maine.  He is also noted for being much easier calving than his brother, but attitudes were about the same.  He had a hip injury when he was young and was never very photogentic.  Takin all of this into consideration you should be narrow down the list of names.  I know alot of these are before your time Farmboy but I like all of the old school bulls.
