Calberta. Oh my. Let's see there was was Calberta Silver 6g, Kodiak9K, Leader 17H, Commander 40... I'm I getting close?

Used at Calberta but it is not part of his name.  I believe he was imported very late in the game (not positive on that) and similar to Zach's guess his sire had the same name as a Simmental bull who was better known.

without looking more, it better not be revival.

Had to go out to feed some animals and just got back in.

knabe what would be wrong with it being MVH Revival.  Fullblood asked for a picture of him after the posts on The Count so I delivered one.

So yes you are correct it is Revival.

was hoping he had a little more poof in his rib and a squosh more depth.  he's a tight coupled booger, which, depending on what calberta was using him for would be ok if they got too long.  would be nice to know how many vertebrae's these old bulls had.  he's got a nice quarter on him which appeared to be lacking in most of their other lines.  i can see why they wanted him.

Yes, he was a double bred Cunia son raised by Herring Ranch and promoted by John Griswold, Sam Shuey, & Herring Ranch.
He died as  a coming two year old from an infection in his seminal vesicles.
If there is a bull worth cloning he would be the one. IMHO

We've been doing good finding pics of these older bulls. Was wondering if someone had a picture of the Stilts bull.

I couldn't help but think of this thread when I came across this bull's photo the other day.  If the bull himself isn't so easy to name, I'd be interested in hearing what breed you think he is.
