This is too fun!!! Good group of calves. Really thought the champion bred and owned heifer was especially nice.

Congrats to the winners! We had a second place steer (very young and very good) and several high-placing heifers. Would have loved to attend but too much hay to cut/bale.

Looks like a nice group of cattle, but I do have a few observations (and this is in GENERAL about angus)
Seems like the navels are getting a bit big and sloppy in the bulls and the frame size seems WAY too small to be accepted by the commercial cattleman.
Also, I do not know, but what is the rule on white on angus?

Looks like the show was competitive as always. Congrats to all. It is indeed a feat to place high at ANY national show, let alone win the class, or division, or overall!!

Allowed to have white on the bellies so long as it doesn't extend past the navel... Did notice as well, some loose navels on the female side. I personally LOVED how the judge picked the OWNED females (yes, I realize the video is of bred & owned). Garrett had an awesome set of cattle up there & had an awesome time I'd say... Champ B&O bull & reserve B&O female... Not bad! As I said before, great set of cattle, tons of competition & I personally believe there's a lot to be said about the breed based on the cattle exhibited this past week. Congrats to all!
