The sale kicks off in just under an hour... fingers crossed it's a good one!

I wonder if I can predict who is going to top the sale... outspoken seems to think I've posted these results merely as self promotion.

(ETA: It's a bit of a worry when a self professed Shorthorn "breeder" wants to bash anyone who is promoting the breed.)

Ah don't mind him. There's one in every bag. I like lots 114 and 118. Lot 3 looks good but it's a pity he's not better colour marked.

A) There is nothing wrong with self promotion, if that was what you were doing.( which I don't think it was). There is a saying " If you don't toot your own horn, then someone else will use it for a spittoon."

B) Don't pay attention to him, but I understand what you are saying.

He looks like a hell of a bull to me. Bigger bw epd but on mature cows? How tall is he I wonder? He looks like he would work to make some good feeders

That bull weighed in at 1030kg, with a 141 sqaure centimetre EMA, 24mm and 13mm of fat on the rump and rib and a frame score of 7. Testicles are 42cm.
The chalk draws 'em! You couldn't draw a better-looking beef bull. Other than his BW numbers, He's a beast!
