I wouldn't worry about that game last night. Nebraska didn't want to be there. Already thumped that team once this year. Kinda hard to get pumped up for a team u beat by 36 earlier this year. I think the Huskers were disapointed what bowl they ended up in. I think the game that  Ohio State plays next year in Lincoln will be a tough, tough game. It will be caos there.

Now Pryor and the rest of the direct marketing Buckeyes say they are coming back. I was hoping he would leave but no dice. If we get beat by Arkansas I will eat my boot. I got a bet with garybob. Ten straws of semen. (pop)

Apparently Iowa's fourth string is better than Missouri's starters!  Go Hawks!!! Next year is going to be GREAT!!!

Next year will be interesting... I think there will be some huge surprises.

As for the OH St players, I am willing to bet they will not see the campus next year.... They had good council, they said what they knew everyone wanted to hear so they could play in the bowl.

First of all the players were not allowed to speak out about this until after the decision had long been made. Terrell Pryor made 2500 bucks on what he sold. He was the highest offender. Far cry from what Cam Newton's dad made off of him going to Auburn. Really is it that bad they sold some memorabilia to make some money? And not alot of money at that. The NCAA said they did not want to punish the whole team for a few players wrong doing. These things took place two years ago. If this is the worst thing to happen under Jim Tressel, I can live with it. Yesterday on t.v. they ALL said they were returning next year.

It is odd that they get to play in the bowl game. It's odd Cam Newton gets to play. It is odd Georgia's reciever was suspended immediatley when he did basically the same thing the OSU players did. It all boils down to money. If Cam Newton doesn't play the ratings will be way way down, if  T.P. doesn't play, ratings go down. Money, money, money.

I'm not a USC fan, but if I were them I would be suing the NCAA over the Newton deal when they came down on USC for Bush like they did

Why is it odd?  Tressel told them they are not going to get around the suspension by playing this game and then leaving.  He made it very clear, either come back next year and be suspended for 5 games next year, or leave after this year and dont play this game.  What else do you want the man to do?

so what happens when they change their minds and don't come back next yr. No punishment. They aren't stupid, they know to say the right thing, so they can play to boost their NFL stock. I bet at least 2 of them leave.

You can say you heard it here first, the suspension will be reduced to 2 games and they'll all be back.  Pryor found out he won't goe high in the draft so he has no choice but to come back, he really has not lived up to the hype. Theirs too many good QB's that are seniors that will be taken ahead of him. Posey's about the only one who had a snowballs chance in the NFL next year.
Neb has too make some fundamental changes in their program to be compete in the big ten, like changing their head coach, IMO.

The most ironic part of it is Pryor will be allowed to play in a bowl game this year after he himself violated the rules while all of the USC players will have to sit out the bowls because of something Reggie Bush did.

The vested one, who I always really respected, should handle it like most coaches and set them on the bench.  He should not give them any say in the matter at all.  They broke rules.

Are the NCAA's rules always right; certainly not, but everyone is to abide by them.  There are numerous kids sitting out bowl game for somewhat minor infractions that have nothing to do with breaking NCAA rules...I remember a Big 8 player years ago sitting out a game because he got a ham & cheese sandwich from a booster.

As Tommy Jackson would way..."Come on,man!"

The vested one will take much heat for this decision.

Agreed but Pryors situation was over $2500, Bush were are talking over 100 times more than that.

Most Coaches????  The NCAA handed down their punishment for it, which is their job, and he is following what the NCAA told him, which is his job.  Like I said what else do you want him to do, He even went farther than they told him he had to so that they could not snake their way around the suspension.

MONEY!!!!

Exactly this double standard crap is getting out of hand.  You can play, you can't play.  I wouldn't have a problem with their rules if they actually applied them to everyone on a consistent basis.

Speaking of hack jobs, what about the call Kstate took at the end of the game.  ???
