when would be a good date this spring to have a progress show and would you go. Don't want to conflict dates with sneak a peek in syracuse, better beef day in horton or others?

Just add another day to an existing progress show, like Fairbury, NE, have it at the same facilities, call it what you want and offer big prize money. People will stick around one more day.
