In case anyone was interested, Monte weighed in at the fair at 1265 and placed second in his class to a beautiful Monopoly Steer. We were tickled with his performance-the judge said he wasn't 'stylish enough' is that code for...black? lol But he got some real nice complements. I sure wish I had gotten a better pic of him show day or at least during fair, but this is the best I have of when he was done, when he was in the ring. Thanks for all the nice complements and help that I always find on this site. Now if I can just find a heifer for the next show season...
