I thought he was quite good, but probably not for the hardcore clubby/steer guys.

Info on Mojito:
Sired by Mr. Clean
TH and PHa Clean
BW: 99 lbs
Birthdate: 3/5/10
He is a mix of pretty much everything.
Cool bull who has a ton of mass and a lot of bone.
He is the next potential Monopoly!

JMO, but I think a pretty good part of Monopoly being Monopoly is that he's a half blood (Angus as it is) and that gives him a lot more consistency than a lot of clubby bulls.

I DO like Mojito though, and wouldn't be surprised to see him sire some very good cattle.  I thought he was one of the soundest bulls in the clubby display area and I really really liked his balance and the fact that he wasn't too extreme.  Good luck with him!

I think that Mojito is a very good complete bull and may sire some good replacements when used on the clubbie bred heifers, but he is made quite a bit different than Monopoly. Great balance, but IMO is going to be @ least 2 frame scores taller than Monopoly if not 3. Time will tell, but he is a tall right now as Monopoly is. Good Luck with your bull. I think that there is a place for him & his sire.

i like mojito but definitely think his place of use will be the heifer arena unless he ends up breeding considerably smaller than he is himself. i saw him while ate IBE this past weekend and i thought he grew a fair amount since denver.

Anything you wanted to have bigger and keep females out of.  I don't see him being a steer bull, he just isn't wide and big butted enough for that, but should make damn nice females.  Also which bull did trausch's have on display at expo?

Those are all some nice bulls but my choice is Fast Freddy!!! There is a lot of buzz on him out their.  He will definitely raise some nice calves.  Trauch's also has another young bull that I think the shorty people heck  breeders are going to really like . His name is Young Money  is a really cool Blue Roan Bull. He is a Eye Candy x Double Vision Trump cow. Young Money  didn't go to Denver but is going to Illinois beef Expo this weekend  as well as Ohio Beef Expo next month.

To choose the winner...... it is whatever bull has the most votes at the end of February.... is considered the best bull to come out this year.

To be considered the best bull to come out this year?  I thought that would be determined 3 years from now when Jeff decides to finally use a particular bull.  <beer>

news travels a little slower to texas i guess, but glad jeff knows who monopoly is now ;D

I think long time coming and mojito offer the industry the most because they are both different from everything else. They're clean, maternal and both I think could be showing up in winners on the maternal side down the road.

I thought that Mojito and Believe In Me were the bulls who stood out the most to me.
