New Cow. Am I mad ?

Just bought this Angus cow (Pictured below) she is 15 years old. From range country has had a calf every year been through two very hard droughts in her life, great structure, out of the pedigree section of a  1000 cow operation. Did I do the wrong thing  ???

if you don't want her I will take her. She sure doesn't look 15

How is she bred?  If you can get a heifer out of her (I'd breed her Simmi)  then it may be a great buy.

She is bred to APR Angus herd bull. She is an out cross to basically any Angus alive in Australia so will go the Angus line I think but money talks   ;D

Makes more sense to me to flush a 15 yr old rather than a 2 yr old.... (thumbsup)

agreed! and that cow is awesome! i woulda bought her at the drop of a hat, ive seen 6 years olds that look older than her, shes easily got 3-4 years left in her.
