I just wanted to get opinions on our newest bull. He is a white chocolate out of a Meyer female. He is around 19 months old and we are getting ready to turn him in on a few cows.

Yeah we put him on just hay to pull some of the fat off. We have about 3 weeks until we turn him in. As far as his top he is really massive topped so he's not as smooth as he needs to be

Might wanna put him on a diet first, looks good but his top looks kinda funky?

Put him to work and that fat will melt off. The "funkY" top is his jump muscle. He looks as though he is very experssive muscled bull. I have seen lots of bulls with that type of expression. He looks pretty good. Smaller boned but is put together pretty well.

I think he looks purty-dang good!!!!!What is his status, as far as the major genetic defects? Another thing, how many people on SP even know what the "Jump Muscle" is? Your talking over people's heads.

Thank you so much for everyones opinions. I don't want to be the one to ask for opinions and disagree but as far as soundness I am  completely satisfied. He is very fluid and strides out with a set to his legs.

As far as th and pha status he is clean on both

Again, thank you to everyone.

Too straight in the back leg for my liking, but super thick. I am also a bit concerned about his shoulder, seems a bit bold?
I also prefer a bit more frame, but his height is hard to tell, he could just be deep enough in the body to give the illusion of being shorter than he actually is.
But, if your looking to add massive muscle, he should do it!

garybob, you calling SP people dumb??  <rock>  I would like to think many on here know what the "jump muscle" is.

Your posting the same time I am, and I am glad to read he is sound and smooth in his movement. Also glad to see he is clean of defects. Good luck with him!
