Here are some pictures of my first ever Phase C Central Test bulls, a few days after the completion of the test.

First two pictures, D. Warwick 319 (Silver Merit)

Third and fourth pictures, D. Willy Wonker 337 (Silver Merit)

Last picture, sire of both, D. Smashing Stuff 103, a Spry's All Gold D052 son.

Comments are welcome, positive and negative!

I prefer the first bull.  I like the depth of the other bull, and their sire, but I need more eye appeal in my market area.  Everybody has their own preferences and purpose with cattle.  Best of luck with them.

The first bull had the better average daily gain and the second bull had the better feed conversion ratio. I think that if the test had run another fortnight that the second bull would have overtaken the first on ADG as well. He had a very slow start, maybe because he was the youngest of the bulls on test. I think the second bull has a dip behind the shoulders but has better depth in the flank area. It will be interesting to see how they scan in six months time when I want to use one.
I have used maternal brothers of both these bulls, by JSF Gauge 137W, over the last year and have calves on the ground. They, the Gauge sons, will be sold on 23 September at the local breeders sale to make place for the next generation. I have never been able to make up my mind as to which was the best, my choice changed every few months. Fortunately I have a number of progeny from both, but the maternal brother of the first bull in these pictures saw another joining in Autumn! I used him more as he had a higher Falkirk Index.

My second group of bulls, two, finished Phase C testing about two weeks ago and I received the results on Friday.
Both attained Gold Merit status so I was extremely happy!
This first, D. Xerox 343, is a Homedale Accomplished son out of a Spry's All God D052 daughter.
The second, D. Xcellent 353, is a D. Smashing Stuff 103 son, the white bull earlier in the thread.
All measurements are metric. I was extremely happy with the FCR of 343 and the Marbling and Fats of 353.
Both maybe carry a bit more sheath than I would like and 343 tends to be a bit posty in the hind legs but they were passed on inspection!

Just a picture of my conditions at the moment, 2016 had the lowest recorded rainfall since 1958!
Took this picture yesterday of where my cows with calves have been. The situation is dire!

The white bull is the sire of all except the second from bottom bull. He is breeding exceptionally well and we have collected him for own use in the future as well.
