Ohio Beef Expo

we had a slight change in plans. Rather than the hubby dropping me off Thursday & coming out Saturday we're both coming Friday & staying for sales Saturday. Thanks to Gidget for making me realize it wasn't a good idea for me to be alone all that time! Of course Woody will be there & still bringing pie Brad!
We'll both be wearing black jackets w/ Red Maple on the back. Look for a slightly loony looking woman being dragged by a corgi & a man on crutches. we're very easy to spot!
When will the rest of you be coming?

I will be there Friday afternoon through some time Saturday late.  I have 4 bulls in the Maine sale and will probably leave at some point following that sale.  I would enjoy meeting people from this site.  I have only met a few and they have all been great people.

You would never be alone, you could always keep me company in the Angus aisle

On Saturday morning, the Wood County Beef Producers will be grilling 500 hamburgers for the judging contest participants!  We will be the ones yucking it up next to the big grill outside Cooper.  After that, I will be checking in with Red at the bull display and catching the Maine sale.  I will be the one that smells like hamburger!

bring some country bob sauce

Hoping to be there for fri,sat,sun. as long as the weather on the drive down is kind o us. Cant wait! Been living of ramen noodles and being anti-social for the past 8 months so I wont feel so bad about spending money on myself...I just miss my sushi *tear*

We will be there Friday PM until sometime on Sunday.  Hope to meet some of the SP folks while there.  Bringing the tank to buy some semen while there.

Is there going to be an "official" SP gathering? ;D

i believe the unofficial official spot is nelsons Gigolo Joe display that has the lady with the cookies and pie and Brad Hook Demolishing the pie.

We will be there Thursday through Saturday after the Maine sale. We are selling a heifer.

We decided not to show this year. The first year we haven' t in a long time. I am going to try and go in on Saturday for the genetic pathway and the sales. Maybe have to stop by the booth.

Red, what kind of pie are you making?  There are only two kinds that are any good, hot and cold.  Looking forward to the expo.

thinking about coming up friday night, sale starts pretty early the next morning...

i just saw the deer and turkey expo is the same weekend, awesome.
