Yeah, Schrag's bought him from Hahns.  I like him, he looked good at Denver.  I would trust most of their bull selections, they've had some real good ones in the past.

Cory told me he is the closest thing to his sire that he has seen. I sure think he's got a nice look to him and should be worth a try.

I hope he's good. Phillip Raisback[Hi View Shorthorns] bought a little red wagon full of "Swagger" semen. Haven't seen him in person, pictures look good. Cory has pretty good luck pickin bulls.

I saw him in Denver and liked him a lot.

If I had needed a bull a little more he just might have come to my house instead.

I might try him on a few next year.

All I have seen is the picture, but he looks real good in that.  I have seen his mother, impressive cow.  I haven't seen too many Sunrise calves that impressed me much, but I haven't seen too many in general.  Could be kinda cool.

I have saw him  a couple times now, he is defiantly on my list for next year. He also has a great pedigree in a very complete package. He is a good one, thats for sure.

HD Swagger looks cool on the picture.  You can not beat the family.  Schrags have been a good cattle partner and honest about their business.  Like someone said earlier, Cory has the touch with picking herd sires.  Just look at the list.  Wow!  This post reminds me that Cory and I are fixing to flush a cow, I better get a hold of him.

If I had to pick a herd sire from all the bulls I saw in the yards in Denver this year, I think Swagger would have been my first choice. He possesses a good blend of muscle, soundness along with style and balance. I think he is a real herd bull in the making. My only concern ( if it is even a concern) is that his pedigree reads very similarly to so many other cattle in the breed right now. There is nothing wrong with these bloodlines, but I think the impact this bull would make would be more substantial,  if he was a bit of an outcross .
