He weighed 1145 June 7. Our fair is first part of Aug.  What do you guys think.

Pretty solid calf all around! May lack in the lower quarter a little but if he moves well, he should do OK. In profile pic it looks like his front feet could use a trim.

We will be having the hoof trimmer come out in July to do all the show cattle.  I am hoping with some more weight his hind end will get a bit thicker.

Our vet suggested to my daughter that her steer was a little light in the rear end that she walk him uphill daily until fair.  It must have worked, she got reserve champion market steer.
