We just previously purchased this steer and want to know if he is show worhty he was born april 26

Looks like a nice calf in the pic but how does he travel?? That pic makes him look like there is a lot of angle in his pastern and maybe he is toeing out a bit in the front???

This is a really nice steer i think that the toeing out is from the rocks he is standing on.

When that flank drops (in a few hundred pounds) he'll ba a beast...what's his breeding?

Wouldn't have him in my show barn. Do you have a mailbox you can tie him to. Leave the breeding info etc. in the box and I'll have someone pick him up and bring him to Colo. so you don't waste feed on him. This is one of the better calves anyone has ask an opinion on for awhile. I think from what we can see of him is a pretty GOOD calf. Would like to stretch his neck a little but when you get him on feed and  he POPS you are going to have a really nice steer. (clapping)

I have a steer verry Similar to this one, is there any thing to do to help the angle in his pastern as beefmaster posted? Nice calf btw  (thumbsup)

I'll take pasterns like that any day, as compared to many of the poppers that I have been seeing lately. I like him.
