I have never used it but it looks like it could be a cheap fat supplement?  Has anyone used it?  To good results?

I ue the Rice Bran Meal, made by manna pro. I think it works, my cattle seem to show more bloom with them on it. The hair gets better and just over all it works or me.

We used to feed our show steers rice bran.  We had a hard time finding it, but finally did.  It came in 50# sacks and we would top dress their feed with it.  It helped add finish to them in a hurry.

Would it be a comparable replacement for wheat germ oil?  None of our local feed stores or Tractor Supply carry WGO

<party>I finally found some Wheat germ oil for $25ish/gallon.  Is this a decent price?  Rice bran oil is about $20/gallon and basically 100% fat plus vitamins etc.  They have the RBO but will have to order the WGO.  Would there be any advantage to getting the WGO or is the entire idea of it just the fat?  Is there something else thats special about WGO that I don't know about?  If fat is the whole point then why not corn oil for 1/4 the price?

The rice bran we used to feed was a powder like substance, not an oil.  We only paid about $5 or $6 for 50lbs.  We did not use that much when we top dress, maybe a couple of cups.  It would last a long time.  You might try calling around to see if anybody has it.
