I have some large framed, clean fronted, structurally sound purebred shorthorn cows.  I am looking to add some power and bone to their offspring.  What is the heaviest muscled roan bull out there to use on these females?

I try not to self promote on these kind of situations, but if you wanting something other than Jakes Proud Jazz lines here's our bull Ivy League.  He is masssive in his make up and about a 5.5 frame.  Bigger than Jakes Proud Jazz, but not as big as most shorties out there.

I have seen both Ivy League and Fringe, and yes Ivy League is good but does have as much mass as Fringe. Obviously, neither one of these bull is proven, I would go with Fringe.

No VJ we aren't quite freezing semen yet, hopefully soon though.

Yes Fringe is a good bull also.  Have a friend that saw him at stud.  I don't think any of the 4 choices are bad choices, as to Jazzman, JPJ, Ivy League or Fringe.  They for the most part all bred differently and can work on various pedigrees.

Does anyone think that Deadwood would be a good option? We had a very stout muscly all white heifer from him. She is just beautiful and I think is going to be our best yet.

I like Ivy League alot, and plan on using him, but here is our new bull.  Hi View's Red Diamond, we got him from Vogel's.

Nice looking bull, Justin.  I'd much rather see you with him than working with those Herefords I saw you with in Des Moines.

When you say large framed how large 6, 6.5, 7?  I would go with JPJ or a son.  Keeps the calving really easy and doesn't give up much in the way of show either.
