Every time I go to a bull sale where they have beef on the bun it tastes awesome. But when I try to cook it at home it doesn't taste nearly as good. I'm thinkin' some of you out there can cook up a mean tastin' roast and I was wondering if you would share your ( or your wife's ) recipe. I know this is a cattle forum but who better to ask how to cook beef than the people who grow it?  ;D  I'm looking for any kind of roast recipe; roast beef sandwich, pot roast, slow cooker roast, roast on the BBQ, whatever you're good at cooking. I have a husband, 4 boys and a baby girl ( she doesn't eat yet) , so hearty roast beef goes a long way on our dinner table. Thanks for your help  :)

We slow cook it all day depending on the size 5 hours usually on low then just to the warm setting. We put a mix of water and a can of beef broth this is with a roast, potatoes and carrots or making like a pulled beef sandwhich. With sandwhich meat we might mix in whatever spices that are in the cabinet especially if my hubby is home lol he tends to grab whatever is close to throw in. Some ideas are minced onion, worstershire sauce (sp?), maybe some garlic, pepper whatever seasonings that you like. It usually smells amazing. I know this isn't a real good recipe but maybe some ideas to try.
