Salty Dog and Eye Candy

What type of cows do these bulls work best on?
Good things in life don't come by a snap of the fingers, but by blisters on our hands.

From my experience, we have had some luck using them on clean, feminine fronted cows.

Salty Dog is s new bull from this past year. If I am not mistaken this is the first year you could get semen. He is a Hired man son on top and Heat Seeker breeding on the bottom. Hired Man is Hannibal x Double stuff. So, you pretty much have all the clubby's in there. There was quiet a debate on here if you search the post that he had a narrow base. He was hairy as they could be from his pictures. If I were a betting man I would use him on moderate to larger framed cow that has some rib and side to her. I think he will add bone and some mass. Of course no one has used him yet so its a gamble.
Life is too short....don't sweat the small stuff.

Use Salty Dog on small cows.
The livestock (show) industry is a tough one- if you've never had anything worth a damn you might as well go on the internet and rundown everybody you can.

Saw Salty Dog in Denver, and talk about hair!! Could have nearly been a Highland if not for the colour!!
I would be using him on good wide, big ribbed cows, with good bone and feet, and strong tops.
Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

You are correct.  I was referring to experience with Eye Candy and Salty Dog's sire Hired man.

Just saw Salty Dog last fri at Hawkeye he and Thriller were my 2 favorite new bulls there. Salty dog is super thick and I would say med to larger frame. He was by far the thickest new bull there. He does have hair but it is pretty curly. That and marked up was the only thing I could fault him on. He would be my pick of bulls to give a try.
