Some of my cows have structure issues, have some leather, and have some power while the others have less power, good structure, and less leather.
Which bull will add the more of these things:
-Bone
-Hair
-Power
-Correct structure
-Depth
-Color
If you bred a painted up baldy with a white face, white on the neck, and lots of white on the belly could her calf have too much white (like covering most of the back)?

Bodacious or I'd look into BIM

BIM will help structure?  I have been very careful to only use his bro Walks Alone on very good structured cows.  Would expect BIM to be similar in that regard -- not a fixer.

I haven't seen very many WA's with structure problems. Well at least no more than another bull

Personally I don't like either bull, I think there are way better options. Bodacious has a sloppy neck and salty dog I thought has awful feet at the Ohio beef expo when he was there.

Salty dog. Hes a amazing looking mature bull. He doesnt have structure problems. And without the hair on bosacious youd think he came outa a dairy lot. Nothin there.

I actually like Bodacious much better as a mature bull than I did when he was a calf.  He personally doesn't have structure issues, and has plenty of mass and volume (I saw him several times last fall/winter as some friends had him leased).  He's not just zipper fronted, but his neck sure doesn't bother me a bit.  I actually thought he may be the most functional looking of all the mature clubby bulls I've seen lately.  All the calves I've seen out of him were stout and sound, too.  I've only seen a handful of Salty Dog calves and they're stout enough and sound enough, too... Maybe just a touch plainer IMO.

Bodacious puts a sloppy front in one and wont help with structure. Salty Dog would be a better choice but WA or Hardline would be even better.

All opinions are different. But u must evaluate the bulls for what they are. Salty dog is bad structured always has been and always will be. But huge legged and stout. But some of his progeny are good structured. Bodacious is not freak necked but when bred right will throw good fronted cattle. His structure has never concerned me. We breed him and have continued to. Walks alone is the scariest bull to breed in my opinion. So wide based and freak made usually the first thing to go is structure. BIM is his full brother and I think he leaves walks in the dust in comparison to quality. To answer your question all those bulls will add bone and hair and power. It's simply breeders choice depending on the cow
