San Antonio Stock Show

Is anyone going to be at the San Antonio Stock Show??  I need to be in San Antonio for my job  from 2/10-14 and if I get some free time from our meetings I may try to wander out to the show.

I'll be there with my Simmi heifer.

That is when the junior heifers will be at the show.

We will be there for Junior heifers.  My daughter is showing a Chi heifer.

We're going... son showing his Chi heifer also.  Oakbar do you know how to clip a heifer?  We need a go over clip job!  Have to have her there on the 10th doesn't show till the 13th!  She is going to fit to be tied!! In more ways than one!!

Its to bad we wont be going anymore!! Our chapter still is, but we wont be...I would have been more than happy to help clip out your heifer!

Sorry to say you're taliking to the wrong guy when you ask me to do any clipping.    I damaged a nerve in my right arm many years ago so my right hand is pretty shaky if I use it very much.  I've told people that any calf I tried to clip would probably look like it had been attacked by Edward Scissorhands on drugs.  I won't even go into what it would look like if I used my left hand very much--I'm extremely right handed.

I'm not even sure we'll be able to get out there cause I will be involved in several meetings while I'm in San Antonio.  I'm just hoping that the scheduled meetings don't turn into even more meetings as they sometimes do.  The most likely day I would be there is Sunday, the 14th and then we fly out that evening.  I'll try to keep an eye out for you, Simmymom, and any other SP folks if I get out there on Sunday!!

I will be there for the Jr Simmental show.  I have a customer who will be showing her Trademark heifer that she bought from me last year.

I will be there showing my chi heifer!!  ;D First year showing cattle at SA so i am excited.
