Is it absolutely necessary to shampoo adhesives and paints out after you spray hocus pocus on it, or can you just rinse it out?

In my experience if you just rinse it out it still has an oily feel to the hair.  Washing is the only way to get the oily hocus pocus out.

In my opinion yes its absolutely necessary.  Adhesive removers can be pretty harsh on the hair, and nathan especially down here in our neck of the woods where its so humid, even at our winter shows I think thats all to heavy and harsh to leave in them.  My opinion is adhesives and remover need to come out as soon as you are done in the show ring for the day.

So if I have a two day show, each day I use an adhesive remover and shampoo it out?

you will have one heck of a time trying to get the hair to separate and to hold with glue on the second day if you don't use soap after you break them down.

all the glues are broken down by oils. oil and water don't mix so no matter how much you rinse you can't get the heavy oil out of the hair. you have to use soap to cut the oil and clean the hair out all the way.

trust me, it's science.  ;)

You must be standing under a good shade tree if its only 95 where you are.  We are closer to 105 today up around Wichita Falls.
