I thought she was one of the very best at Agribition! It's a good photo but can't show he capacity and width, a very good addition to your herd!

Sire is Hill Haven Summit 5X: he's a DF Gold Eagle son out of a DF Pure Gold cow.

Dam is Glenford Maxine 60W: she has many generations of great Canadian breeding, eventually going back to Mandalong Super Flag and Four Point Major on her sires side, and a couple shots of Super Flag and Ayatollah on her dams side.

I like the cattle on Hill Haven's website!

Good looking heifer you got, I would not be concerned about her heart-girth!  Probably more to do with the picture, more pictures from different angles would give a better platform from which to pass comments.

Saw quite a few of their cattle had Lincoln Red genetics in their breeding, does she have any influence?

Could be an interesting influence down the line if she has.

Pretty nice heifer. I'd like to see her heart girth be bigger to match her back end. Other then that she should be a good female for you.

we see cattle the same way.  Id guess the DF breeding is responsible for that.  Heifer has a really nice hip on her!

I don't believe this heifer has any Lincoln Red influence in her no.

She goes back to Hill Haven's 'Kelina' cow family, and I believe it is their "Happy' cows that have the Lincoln Red influence

Here is a link to her extended pedigree. The new CLRC extended pedigrees now highlight common ancestry and sometime in the next couple of months they will show inbreeding coefficients as well.

Very nice heifer. She has good volume of rib, thickness in the hip and carries it down, moderate framed. The only thing I would question would be if she is a bit tight in the heart but the color pattern may be making her look that way. It is hard to tell. Very nice heifer and looks to have the easy keeping look that will make a performance cow.  (thumbsup)
