shorthorn herd sire

Our bulls have been breeding for about 3 weeks now. Just thought I would share a picture of our 3 year old shorthorn Hatfield Governor 17X. I just love this guy. Can't wait to see what his heifers will do as cows!

From what I remember of Prophet at Agribition he is a nice lookin' bull. Hatfield also had a really nice son of Governor there. (but I may be a bit biased in my opinion on that one ) Its really hard to get a good picture of Governor because he's always moving/bellering.

I saw this boy at Agribition as a calf and thought he had a lot of merit. I can see why you are pleased with his development. His pedigree has lots of good cow makers and you should get several good females out of him.

Good looking bull, I gather he is asterisk free as well?

Yup he does look good.  Canadian papers show him to be 100% pure.  He looks a good bit like some JPJ sons I've seen especially in that top pic.

We used a maternal brother by Northern Legend for three years and have some outstanding heifers from him.  Extremely wide and thick all the way through.

One of Jaimie's best cows is an ET by Northern Legend 3N and out of a full sib to ACC Legend 1U's dam. The Alta Cedar Julia Ann 35L cow has produced some good ones, Governor 17X should make you some great replacement females (thumbsup)
