Saskvalley Imperative 33X is a good bull.

I have semen in the states on Muridale Jaxson 4A , His mother is a real deep good producing Saskvalley Bonanza daughter.

They are both good looking bulls. The mother of that bull is about as deep as they make one.

I've been thinking about using him on a few cows this spring. What have the birth weights been like? Do you happen to have any progeny pics?

We had a few Jaxson calves here, they are coming along good. The calves ave. 95 lb so I wouldn't call him a heifer bull.
Here is a Jaxson bull calf.

I guess everyone is thinking the same thing.

I was considering using him to stack on a Bonanza granddaughter and a cow that goes back to 14k. Cleaning them up with a Bonanza son either way, just wanted to try the shot of both bulls at once. Do you know of any other bulls available in the US that have are Bonanza/14k or 14k/Bonanza??

Renegade is siring easy fleshing and depth of rib pretty consistently.
Here is a recent picture of A&T Renegade 124 and a bred heifer sired by him. Along with those traits he also bring maternal calving ease, top 10% marbling and top 40% ribeye area. I like him a lot.  ;)

Saskvalley Ramrod semen is available in the U.S.

Wiseguy; Imperative looks good.  So do his sons.  We have lots full sibling embryos in the tank and 2 full brothers in the yearling pen.  Most likely one or both of them will be in the sale next year.  We walked 3 Ramrod sons and one Ramrod grandson in our pastures this past summer and we have lots of Ramrod daughters in the herd, so we can't use many more Ramrod sons

Not to be female chauvinist, but why do we never ask where we can acquire the daughters of great deep bodied etc cows? My idea is that great cows come from great cows and we spin our wheels too much looking for ideal bulls to change type.
Maybe spend that bull money on the kind of cows you want then use their sons for replication.

Librarian I like your thinking.  It seems that getting large group of theservice great females is difficult as most breeders are small and don't want to give up what they have worked so hard to create.  I think R.N. Reed has something on his website that says start with something close to your ideal and the try to replicate.  I feel like I have may more progress or at least gained a better understanding of my herd by using my own bulls on my cows.
