How did the Maxim semen sell?
I don't know John at all...but, have tried to det ahold of him since last summer on some semen on the bull, phone callsand e-mails, with no reply on each attempt that I made.  I think pretty highly of the bull for no more than I have seen and heard about him, but just didn't bother to try and bid after my efforts to find out more about him and the semen were not worth a call back or a reply to a simple e-mail.  Hope it went well, sounds like it was for a good cause.  No hard feelings towards John or anything, just my personal experience.

John is a hard guy to get a hold of at times.  The semen brought $12,500 the first time around (for the Bedwell foundation) and then for $3750 or so to actually sell.

Maxim heifers were Champion and Reserve in the March/April calf division in Denver, with 3/4 class winners in that division being Maxim's (the other was a Solution x Dream Lady 420).

Good to hear.  Like I said, no hard feelings.  After seeing those heifers in the catalog as hearing about them this fall...I figured he was realy gunna be doing the job out there.

We didn't have very many calves out of him this year either.....he will be the real deal in another year or two.  I don't know if any more semen will be available in the foreseeable future. I wish there would be, I have a few cows of my own I think he would be amazing with.
