Finished Weight or Show weight.

Show weight would be in that 1375 range as others are saying.

Translation on 1375 is 1445 on a weigh back, and about 1480 before shrink.

What are the weigh back rules at a major? I had a guy ask me and I didn't have any answers. What is the penalty and do you get a second shot at it if you are out of compliance?

Generally, it is 5% either side of the declared or weigh in number.

If a weight card system is used, and you turn in a card at 1,400 then you have to weigh back between 1,330 and 1,470.

If the actual weigh in weight is 1,400 then the same applies.

Not all cattle are weighed back.  They keep weighing back until they get 2 from the class that weigh.  The penalty is disqualification.
