We have a heifer in the feedlot that is not feeling right. She is not coughing or weezing but is breathing a little fast and has a fever of 104. She doesn't eat and just stands or sits in complete silence. She holds her head out and a little below level when standing. We gave her nuflor and antiinflammatory yesterday. What could it be? I was wonderinng about hardware ???

Definitely give your vet a call asap!!! He'll probaly give her a shot of flunazeene? Dont know if I spelled that right. But I'd get the vet there within the day or real early tommorow morning!!!  (dog)

Thanks for the input, I don't think it is pneumonia. She has been like this for three days but only stopped eating yesterday. Flunazine is the antiinflammatory that I gave her. Vet is coming in the morning.
