My daughters simmi steer has really started bucking over on his front legs, it seems to get worse the bigger he gets, he is around 1250 right now and we have a month and a half before county fair.  Is there anything we can do for this, I am really considering taking him to the sale barn this weekend to cut our loss now.  Chances of him ever getting set up right in the ring are slim to none now with this problem.  Any help greatly appreciated.

That is just something that is bred in. I may be wrong but there is not much that would help IMO.

This is something that all of us should learn to look for in the selection process. Stay clear of calves that are too straight in that front end and just don't connect properly in that knee and cannon bone juncture. Usually they will toe out too because there is just nowhere else to go with their feet.

The bad news is the calf isn't going to get any better, and will more than likely get way worse...
The good news is the fat market is pretty good right now... I think you are on the right track.
Sorry for your bad luck!

That happened with one of our steers an alias to be exact we tried to see if he would get better with more exercise but that seemed to make him worse so we took him to the sale barn 2 days ago. All I can say is it happens.
