steer not eating any suggestions

My may steer won't eat enough feed to gain heat is not an issue, we are in canada so we don't have access to sullivan supple$ment like appitie express any suggestions welcome thanks

how long has it been off feed and how much are you feeding.  Try just feeding hay for a day then give back grain.

been bout 2 weeks he gets 20lbs a day of a 13% ration and hay but he only eats about half that

I'm not sure what the climate is but I would feed him at a earlier/later time when it's cooler sometimes it's just heat

would something like show bloom work when it has yeast iin it or just straight up brewers yeast

Get some buttermilk down in his stomach.  Same principle as beer and probiotics.  Seems to coat the stomach to ease any pains.  Try it.  it will work.  This is what my dad used in the 50's before probiatic paste came along .  Still works.  Hope you already have him eating.  Good luck.  Sometimes the old ideas works better.  Sosmetimes not.
