Steer problem

I am new at showing and i am wondering if height as to do anything with winning. I have a really nice steer calf but the only problem he is kinda short. Is there anyway for me to make my steer appear taller? The more i look at him i think he is not that short. But when i compare him to my other calves we looks like a shrimp! Thanks for your help!  (lol)  (cow) 

keep  his tailhead a little higher to give the apperance of a taller calf.

No i don't have a picture yet i will in a couple of days though.

if you think your steer is short,he's  probably the right size. 49-52 in. does most of the winning.
