So I need to replace the floor in my stock trailer. What is the best wood to use. There is no sawmills close to me so I am kinda limited. Would just 2x10's work from homedepo. I know a lot of people use oak or pine but I'm having a hard time finding it

My father tried plain old boards like you describe.
It worked for a few months. Talk to a local lumber yard, someone who cares should be able to get you a harder board to use. There is also plastic lumber for trailers but it is a step up in price.

I know the low bed trailer as well as our smaller trailers for hauling equipment come with Apitong it is harder and stronger than pine and Doug fir. Stuff takes a beating from the backhoes and excavators but last a long time.

I replaced the floor in my trailer last year with 2 X 8 treated pine. The first floor in my trailer was oak. The oak was very slick when wet and started rotting after only 2 years. I wouldn't use it again.
