I hate stupid people. Ignorant stupid people even more.

AR-15's are not the problem, 30 round clips are not the problem. Here is novel idea, let's make them illegal!! That has worked fabulously with drugs, no-one uses THEM anymore. Law abiding citizens will continue to be just that, while criminals will keep doing whatever they please. we can't fix people with mental illnesses, but you can make damn sure that if shit hits the fan, my last words won't be "damn, I wish I had my gun"

America is broken, we need some real change and some good ole boy with a backbone needs to run this country again. I'm sick of it. I work too hard to have it taken away to pay for luxuries of another. Here is a grand idea, we are in a deficit crisis, stop spending money!! Why do our congressman and women each have a driver and "staffers" accompany them everywhere, on our dollar? Drive your own damn car!  Why does the president spend millions to fly to Hawaii for the holidays on our dollar? Why are we continuing to spend billions of dollars on "foreign policy" when they already hate us? Who cares, let's take care of ourselves first, we need help, the Pakistan people can fend for themselves for all I care.  We are going to get out of this deal 1 dollar at a time, let's start at the top and make it happen.

I'll get off my soap box now, Happy New Year everyone

Or how about while Obama is saying that both parties should come together and find a solution to the fical cliff, he passes a bill give all federal employees a pay raise(spending more money). Biden appreciated that.

Well: there were compromises and Obama stood his ground as much as he could,so right or wrong,I dont think hes a pushover-he just knows when to to push the right buttons.ANY so-called congressman etc "leader" should be taxed DOUBLE,in order to have the priveledge of "serving" the people-what a joke.Well,a tentative stop gap bill is in the works untill the next "cliff"-the SELF SACRIFICE of our toiling heroes in WASHINGTON is evident once more. And for all those who believe these "leaders" work for you, hope you dont have to buy alot of milk or be in the agricultural business. Im at the point that it seems useless to vote. O0

I think Charlie Daniels might be summing it up best in this song.

I am a tax accountant so it has been frustrating waiting for the Idiots in  Congress to make any Common Sense decision.

The song says it all.

We need an economist in the white house, not a good ol boy.  The  last good ol boy and his administration are responsible for the financial crisis we're in now.

Can't say this Administration taken the country by storm either. Until we wake up and start putting people that have had to work for a living (actual work) in their it is never going to end. Money will always take presidents over people.

While everyone is complaining... its not going to make one damn bit of difference if we don't make a actual effort to contact your own STATES representatives and congressmen.  I don't think any of us realize how quickly this President is changing our country and this HUGE deficit we're incurring and the consequences we're all facing.  When the stupid people (and ones that shouldn't even be voting) out number the common sense folks we're in trouble.  That's where we're at now in this country.  As far as the guns and killings.  IMO none of that is going to stop until they actually put a end to the LIVES of the absolute guilty people that commit these crimes.  Regardless if you're mentally insane (or just a mean SOB) kill several people in a movie theatre... a school... or one person... Your life needs to end and quickly.  Capital punishment needs to be first solution.  It seems like its the criminals that are treated more fairly than the victims!!  I say ask Clint Eastwood (or watch some of his old movies!! lol)  Instead we have the stupid celebrities talking about taking the guns away... all the while they keep making tons of money making violent movies and TV shows and crap.
Guns don't kill people... its STUPID CRAZIES that do.  Just had to vent....

So was the debt we incurred while chasing bin Laden around the middle east for a decade was fine?

added to.  look at the numbers to see how much.  also, obama hasn't had to deal with the downing of the twin towers, something rarely taken into account when looking at bush's presidency.  i'm not a bush fan either, but the amount each succeeding president adds to the deficit seems to be to more than double the debt of all previous presidents.  can't believe you can't see that.  again for reference, i don't vote for R & D except once since 1980.  people keep saying they want a difference, but never vote for it.

I know Bush takes a lot of flak for things he couldn't really control.  I don't think it would have mattered who was in office before Obama, that money was gonna be spent.  Obama has undoubtedly made a mess of things. But my point is that a lot of the people who are calling for Obama's head over exorbitant spending were just fine with spending insane amounts of money before he was in office.

here's proof they are the same party.

http://washingtonexaminer.com/tim-carney-how-corporate-tax-credits-got-in-the-cliff-deal/article/2517397#.UOT86qV5n8u

Former Sens. John Breaux, D-La., and Trent Lott, R-Miss., a pair of rainmaker lobbyists, pleaded for extensions on behalf of a powerful lineup of clients.

Liquor giant Diageo also retained Breaux and Lott to win extensions on two provisions benefitting rum-making in Puerto Rico.

this stupid rum making scam has been going on for years

And I suppose you were only going back to Bush? There is a whole lot of this mess that stems back to Slick Willy and somehow that just gets over looked. The biggest part of the housing bubble lays squarely on Clinton. Not that Bush did anything to stop the mess but when the Dem's. were questioned back in the late 90's they never answer  any of the oversight committees questions about freddie or fannie. Lending money was fun and our economy was growing fast enough that we never thought it would end.
