some bulls just do not click with a group of cows and then you go to the next persons heard and they will all be good.

We have some semen left on old Clark. We put a straw in a commercial heifer 2 years ago I knew we were not keeping, but will never use the other three.

I learned my lesson long ago and now I only have 6 bulls in the tank.  Of those in the tank  the one I may never use is Platinum.

I have no cows, but still have an old 16 week tank that I really should sell.  Here's the deal: Tank and Contents - $5000 firm.  The buyer will come to Ada, OK to  pick up the tank.  The only guarantee I have is that the tank has never been low on Nitro, and everything is good to the best of my knowledge.  Here is what I have; all of which I'll never use!

I have in the tank:
Maine-Anjou
Cachet'  3
JP MR Cachet 27U Was a 1986 Blk/Wht bull bred by Dwight Elliott, Wyoming.  Sire: Tri Pld Dimension.  He was a huge bull which will add frame & Bone.  Also sired tremendous carcass characteristics.
Rambo    4
K&A Rambo T505 was a 1985 ¾ Black bull bred by the Kenny Bremer family, Iowa. Sire: PtS Dukes Pride 1.  He was one of the first Show Steer sires, and his low % daughters have always been in high demand.  Semen is gone.  I don’t think even the Bremer’s still have any.
Colby    2
K & A Colby Y129 was a 1989 son of Cachet’, and the sire of Pld Pursuit.  Bred by the Bremer family, The bull is well known for siring a lot of butt.
Specialist 3
Bo Jackson 3
Bo Jackson was Jirl Buck’s first “big hit” bull.  Born is 1990, he was a ¾ Mr. Bill X Stilts daughter.  I don’t know if these 3 straws are good.  I purchased directly from Jirl, used 5 straws and got no pregnancies.  Jirl gave me another 5, and the 2 I used years ago did not stick.
FR Magic  3
FR Magic 179X, born in 1989, is in my opinion, the best bull of the MA bred for siring extremely maternal cows.  He is a Smithbilt X Epinal bull who produced the best donor cows in existence.  Bred and owned by Ferris Ranch, Connerville, OK.
Ali    2
Hard Core  3
Bouncer  3
Purple Haze  5
King Pin 1
Kadabra 4
Strictly Business 1
Ice Pick  7
LJH Die Hard    8
Legacy Plus  4
Draft Pick  5

Angus
Pine Tar  3

Composite
Tuffer 'n Hell  5

Simmental
Meyer 734  7
Genesis    100

Frozen Embryo
Meyer 734 X Blackshirt Cow  1

The Blackshirt Cow was a 3/4 Simmental Show Heifer(Missy's Blaze) we purchased from Tim Burke in 1994.  Blackshirt was a J & C bull Burke was using heavily at the time.  We bred, showed, and sold a tremendous Show Heifer sired by Meyer 734, out of Missy's Blaze.  Her second mating to Meyer produced an incredible bull we called Genesis.  I bred him a couple of times to my Maine-Anjou cows, and struck Gold.  Four of my last keeper cows were sired by Genesis, and I sold several heifers and bulls by him.  I sold Genesis to Brand 3 Cattle, Pampa Texas with an agreement to receive 100 straws from his first collection.

( None of those 100 straws are proven by a live calf, but I was told the collection went fine, and the Semen checked out #1)

The Blackshirt Cow, Missy's Blaze sustained a crippling injury during her 6th delivery, and I had her flushed to Meyer 734.  I received only 3 #1 frozen embryos.  I had one live bull calf, and the one Embryo still in the Tank.

I agree totally. Our example is Hannibal. He is a very good bull, no doubt, but he just didn't work for us. We have 7 straws that we will never use, and would be willing to sell, along with my straw of Ceasar.

About 15 years ago we had a neighbor that has a BB bull, had him collected, and AI'ed about 300 commercail angus cows with it. Come to think of it, still have 3 full canes in the tank.

2 straws of Twin Creek Etulason.  They were included in a package deal and I just don't really have a place for them.  Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I have been told he is a PHA carrier.  I also have some other TH/PHA carriers in the tank that I won't use just because they are carriers.

There is no evidence that Streamliner (AKA Twin Creek Etulason) is a PHA carrier, in fact it looks like he was tested free according to ther AMAA web site
